Juan Carlos León Benitez is Tuyo Therapy and he brings a lifetime of experience in human movement to the treatment table. He was born in Cuba and was a member of the National Gymnastics squad before training at the Havana Circus School as an acrobat and flying trapeze artist.

He relocated to the UK in 1995, where he enjoyed a long and successful career as a professional performer, appearing in productions worldwide.

In 2008, Juan Carlos trained as a Soft Tissue Therapist with the IRSM at the prestigious London School of Sports Massage, and since then, he has worked in private practice. In addition to treating elite performers and amateur enthusiasts in several sports, he offers preventative treatments and post-injury massage to anyone seeking to maintain and improve mobility or recover fully.

​In addition to hands-on massage, he is experienced in cupping therapy, acupressure techniques, and blading.

In January 2022, Juan Carlos added Extra-Corporeal Shockwave Therapy to his list of treatment skills. ESWT is a game changer in the care of soft tissue injuries.
