£16,500 – £19,000 (Depending on previous experience)
This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week)
We are looking to recruit a new Club Supervisor to help drive the tennis club forward. West Bridgford is a private members tennis club close to the centre of Nottingham. This is an exciting role for someone who has previous leadership experience and can contribute to and help deliver the vision of the club. You will be responsible to the Club Manager. You will support and assist with day to day operations and also help to maintain our reputation as a high quality and welcoming tennis club.
Understand and perform supervisory duties within a Bar and Reception.
Be able to lead and motivate a team of staff.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Strong IT skills.
Knowledge of tennis would be an advantage.
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, they will have had previous leadership experience and be able to communicate in a confident manner.
The candidate will be able to show an understanding of commercial awareness and be able to input ideas for how to improve member experience and increase bar and shop revenue.
They will be able to use their own initiative and lead and support a team of staff. They will be hard working, friendly and show a passion for ensuring our members and visitors enjoy their experience at our club.
Roles and Responsibilities
Court and room hire bookings, coaching sign ups, membership renewals and enquiries.
Supervising the day to day running of the reception and bar, dealing with all enquiries in a calm and confident manner.
Provide an outstanding service to our members and visitors.
Placing orders with suppliers and receiving deliveries.
Ensure a consistent stock level is maintained.
Be responsible for motivating and offering support to the staff.
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness that are in place are reached and kept daily.
Handle payments and daily cashing up of the tills.
Conforming at all times with health and hygiene regulations.
Taking and preparing food orders
